First time in the US market
Light amber hue
Smooth tannins.
Surprising how nasty this smelled-mushroom/wet dog, barnyard, you name I smelled all the funk. With hints of citrus
Taste was explosive with citrus, made me want more and more my mouth wouldn't stop watering.
Excited to see their next wines. — a year ago
a smooth leathery georgian red. it is fresh peppery with the fruit barely present. the tannins and acid definitely overpower this wine, but with the right dish it would balance well. i may experiment with this one. — 7 months ago
Funky and very good! Beautiful rosy amber color. Flavors of orange peel and clove with nice acid. — a year ago
‘Dry White Wine’. Maybe Mtsvane. Very light color. Almost clear. Hint of lime on the nose. Bitter something. Flavors are strange and herby. Camphor, Halls type thing in there. Clean and elegant. Has nice body. This is a crazy interesting white wine. — a year ago
Blend of indigenous varieties Tsitska (30%) and Tsolikouri (70%) from vineyards in the Imereti region in Western Georgia. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in qvevri. 2 weeks skin maceration. Elegant nose, some flinty notes. Great texture. One of the best Georgian wines I’ve had @rawwine — 10 months ago
Georgian - pleasant and interesting- how similar to the ancients? — a year ago
carmen
herbaceous funky effervescent red. it’s a big bright wine with notes of blackberry. it’s acidic and tannic, and a unique wine to cut through the flavors of a steak. — 7 months ago
