Surprising how nasty this smelled-mushroom/wet dog, barnyard, you name I smelled all the funk. With hints of citrus

Taste was explosive with citrus, made me want more and more my mouth wouldn't stop watering.

My first from Hedges.
Love how they farm-organuc/biodynamic
This blend does include non-biodynamic grapes from vineyards they do buy from.

Beautiful color, tannins are not too grippy and slip through the pallet
Deep red fruit, cherries, cranberries, leather, tobacco, and some other funky flavors. I say dirt.
I preferred with some chill. Closer to 60°
Room temp really brought out the leather flavors.

Tannins were a bit spikey/grippy.
Beautiful amber hue
Citrus, salivating flavors
Slightly green apple tartness
Preferred chilled over room temp 68°
Next day was much betterbolder flavors and more floral and structure on the mouth.

My absolute favorite wine.
Aromas of cherry, cocoa, red fruits on the nose
Tannins are beginning to be less grippy-could age a few years to see if tannins smooth out.
Deep flavors of cherry, balanced acids l, red currant undertones.
It's a special bottle. Beautiful. Magical.
