1985 vintage. Still so alive. Raisinated fruit, tobacco, leather, grippy tannin. Tons of secondary notes. Powerful wine. — 9 years ago
This wine reminded me of just how great Italian wines are. I imagine a family in Sicily humbly making fantastic wine and selling it at a price the working man can afford every day. — 5 years ago
Decisamente un Verdicchio sopra le righe. Il territorio è quello di Matelica, meno famoso ma disseminato di ottime cantine e grandi vini.
Pieno, rotondo, fresco e minerale. Note di caramella all'anice, mou e mandarino. Bocca piena e succosa, un sorso ti appaga per diversi minuti, ma poi ti dice che non basta e ne vuoi ancora, fino a che@la bottiglia nonnsi svuota. Annata 2011 — 8 years ago
2019 version. Lovely gavi, nice and mineral and not too fruity. Eminently quaffable. — 4 years ago
Dry, smooth, bold, thick and delicious. Surprising find at TJ’s! — 4 years ago
Fun n funky. On the nose, dried flowers and blackberries. In the mouth, cracked pepper, juicy ripe blackberries, mouth-coating tannins and moderate acidity. Medium long finish. (Side note - whomever said in their review -in Italian- that there were "no tannins" in this must be used to 1 year old Barolo, because this wine certainly had plenty) — 8 years ago
2013 Borgo Del Tiglio. At lunch at Il Piccolino. None of us had tried this wine before. Nice and dry. Great dry white wine. Really enjoyed. — 9 years ago

A lovely Sangiovese. Pairs well as a dipping wine with some nibbles or with a butternut squash ravioli and a sausage ravioli (better). — a month ago
