An exceptional wine from this small Spokane Washington winery. It’s a blend of all their top grapes and one of the oldest Cabernet vineyards in the state. Still drinking quite well. Good harmony still exist between the fruits and the tannins Quite pleased. — 9 months ago
Ripe in flavor, with a vivid array of black currant, blackberry, violet, black tea and black pepper aromas and flavors that zoom through to a long, expressive finish. Shows subtlety in the layers of complex flavor against a refined structure. Tannins are present but nicely contained. #1 Wine of 2009, Wine of the Year* — a month ago
Deep ruby color.
Aromas of baked raspberry, cinnamon.
Off-dry. Flavors of baked raspberry/blackberry/plum, licorice, cinnamon, oak spice. Rich velvety tannins.

surprise surprise - hit or miss with this NC winery, but this is fantastic! Left Bank style, classy oak integration, gobs of red & black fruit, prominent spice and secondary layers, great extraction & tannic grip. just really solid & enjoyable all the way round. bump for QPR — 3 months ago
I really enjoyed this wine, unfortunately I paid more than $10 because I bought it at a restaurant. Columbia Valley wines are def in my wheelhouse of taste and enjoyment for vino! 2019 — 3 years ago

Didn’t like this one as much as the first I had. This was more fruit forward with a ton of funk and acidity. After a few hours it was better but given the high amount of acidity and fruit I’m not sure it’ll get better. Reminds me of a good carbonic Grenache or other rhone varietal. Some olives in there as well. It’s good. — a month ago
