For sure not a French Rosè but very smooth and better cold! — 6 years ago
A perfectly smokey, incredibly drinkable orange. — 7 years ago
Heavily tannic but well integrated. Cherry, non French oak, and herbal funk. Great Barolo. — 8 years ago
Leather, black cherries, black currant, and dark chocolate. A hint of organic earth as well. High tannins, so it needs some time to breathe — 8 years ago

Interesting and tasty red from Pulgia, not sure where obtained. Dark Ruby. Forest, mushroom and ripe dark fruits, keep one sniffing. minerals and acids in balance with almost velvety coating on palate. Long lingering finish. Wonder how it tastes when young. Found previous notes, AA18 red blend Predominantly Nero di Troia with Montepulciano per wine searcher. Last bottle. — 4 years ago
Getting past its prime. Still love the funk. — 6 years ago
Wine perfection. Cranberry and licorice flavors, powerful licorice nose. Underrated on Vivino. Perfect with steak or lamb. — 7 years ago
Feeling lucky to have tasted such a rare and special wine that usually never makes it to the states. It’s been quite a while since this moment. Hopefully we’ve begun to import it. — 8 years ago
so delicious, hearty style - tasted as though it saw some oak but def spent time on lees, some tropical fruit like guava and citrus but also savory herby floral, just a great nose. med bodied, weighty w/some bottle age, firm acidic backbone, minerality and lingering finish — 9 months ago

El Molar is an unusual 100% Garnacha from a region known primarily for Monastrell/Mourvèdre. It is sourced from the estate’s youngest plots in El Molar, planted between 2004 and 2010 on sand and chalk soils. Aged in large foudres and barrels for 14 months. Light ruby color. Red fruit. Delicate and refined. Not what I am use to with wines from Jumilla. However, age has likely mellowed this one out. Slightly past it’s prime perhaps, but reminds me of a nice Barolo. — 7 years ago
Unique. Aromatic. Funky. Bitter orange. Dry and light to medium in body. — 8 years ago
