Pale to medium copper in color; citrus zest, honey, and apricots on the nose; high acidity; tastes like grapefruit peel, honeydew, dried apricots, and saline with a long fruity finish. Nellie likes it. I love it. — 9 months ago
Medium pink color. Smells like strawberries and pomegranates on the nose. Tastes like cranberries, strawberries, and raspberries. Intense, but balanced acidity with a long finish. Nellie likes it too! — 2 years ago
2022 vintage. This was rocking. Medium body. Off the charts nose. Gorgeous dialogue between the levels of concentration and subtleties. 13.0% ABV and 322 cases made. A fave Syrah/Pinot producer from the Santa Ynez Valley/Santa Barbara area and always look forward to their yearly interpretations of the lands. 4.3.24. — 8 months ago
Medium straw color; Lemon zest, honey dew, and apricot on the nose; medium plus acidity; tastes like beeswax, a little butter, and a hint of chamomile with a medium finish. This is a really delicately flavored wine. Good quality as far as I can judge. Nellie likes it — a year ago
2018 vintage. Winemaker Matt Brady tames the hedonism of the Santa Rita Hills (only for a spell, don’t fret) and adds a little body, earth and spicefest to this offering. Doesn’t hurt that the juice is from 100% Pommard (muscular/hevvy Pinot) clone. Ruffly, 150 cases made. Find you do, acquire you must. — 2 years ago
An enjoyable Pinot Noir. Attractive aromas, starts with slight acidity and a touch of cinnamon and finishes clean. — a year ago
