Tonight I was craving a red, but dinner called for a white. This wine satisfied both criteria brilliantly.
Gorgeous translucent rubycolor. A red with more acid than most whites. Incredibly fragrant: cherry jolly rancher, pomegranate, red currant, potpourri (dried rose petals, cinnamon, allspice, cardamom), a touch of earth. Bright and tight.
Let’s make still Pinot Meunier a thing. — a month ago
Wonderful, balanced Rutherford appellation Cab. Easy to sip, even better with food. Lovely berry flavor. At 7 years, tannins are just right — a month ago
Above average Napa Sauvignon Blanc. Great summer wine. Paired nicely with squash casserole. Light citrus flavors — 21 days ago
Still liking this! Brighter and lighter than the Haire but still really balanced with nice oak. — a month ago
Really great Pinot noir. The flavour - peppery on the front of your tongue - was delicious. As ever, too light for me but surprisingly enjoyed. We had corovin of two glasses at the grove! — 10 days ago
Very deep fruit and a big wine. drinks nice with the aerator but could be really excellent with more time. — 17 days ago
I would drink this all day long. Like pouring a pepper mill down your throat with a warm afterburn, what is not to love about that? Smooth and wonderful just like me. — 19 hours ago
