Rutherford dust! Great dark fruit flavors and fine grain tannins. Very enjoyable!

Very young wine that needed much more air/decanting. Nose was tight and hit the palate hard. With time it slowly mellowed out and became quite nice, with cherry and tar flavors. I would say the last glass or so was similar to the 2012 Burgess Cab we had prior, but not as fruitful or smooth. Lay this guy down for 3-5yrs or decant for twice as long as you think you need to.

Aug 5th, 2017The Sequoia Grove Reserve continues to impress! This is my first recent vintage, and the consistency is amazing! Whether it is the '03 or this '12 you can't go wrong! Great mix of Napa and Bordeaux, love it!

This is my idea of a Cab! Held its own paired with slow roasted standing prime rib at Christmas dinner. Very merry indeed!
