12 Years Port Wood Finish Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky

OG Glenmo Port Wood FTW! Sadly, my last dram from this old bottle. That being said, the newly updated Quinta Ruban with the 14yr age statement is really good and represents one of the best values in Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. — a year ago

Aged 14 Years The Quinta Ruban Port Cask Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

A good warm weather scotch. There’s a lot going on here - orange zest, vanilla, caramel, cedar and lemon curd. It’s almost too much really. Maybe keeping it in casks for 14 years was just too long? Still, I enjoyed it and would drink again, especially at this price. — a year ago

Ardbeg

The Ultimate Ten Years Old Single Malt Islay Scotch Whisky

Ardberg is a typical Islay Malt with the dials turned up a few notches. This is very peaty and smoky with seaweed notes. The flavours are bold with the Alcohol turned up slightly to 46%. I prefer these peaty Islay malts to the more refined Highland Malts like Glenmorangie. Both are in the LVMH Stable. — 5 months ago

10 Years Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky

Straw color. Aromas of elegant smoke, toasted nuts, and marzipan. Wildflower honey, almonds, and cereal malts rush forward on the palate. Long finish. Very nice 10 year SM! — a year ago

@Bill Bender They say Norman/Norrie is a common name of the Scottish Highlands but my mother who claims 100% Irish heritage might not invite me over for corned beef on the 17th if I press that assertion....

Agree @Norman Gennaro drop it and just take the corn beef. Can’t go wrong there.

18 Year Old Extremely Rare Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Exactly what you would expect from an 18 year. Light straw color, carmel and floral notes with a extremely smooth finish. Refined and delicious. — 4 months ago

Glenmorangie

The Duthac Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

I bought a 1 litre bottle at the distillery in Tain, Ross-Shire last August 2019. Smokey aromas also cloves, dried fruit and vanilla. Matured in Pedro Ximenez and Virgin oak casks bringing sweet caramel and vanilla notes to the palate. Overall smooth and a crowd pleasing Single Malt where the Oak casks influence the flavour profile noticeably. Perfect for a very cold day in Toowoomba - currently 7 degrees Celsius - probably like a heat wave to many Delectable posters in North America and Europe. — 8 months ago

You’ll probably have to make that last as it will be a while before the current world lets you make that trip again. 😔

Nice bottle.
7°C is a beautiful Fall day for me, perfect temp to sit by the outside fire and drink Champagne.

Signet Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Said to be an element of oldest and rarest stock (35 to 40 yrs) stock of the distillery - chocolate raisins orange nose, butter pudding Carmel, lime, cashew, spice favor with dried floral finished. So rich like having a toffee, so delicious! — 2 years ago
