This is actually the Domaine Tabordet L’ Autre Rive. Delectable did not have this label. Great value in Sancerre. Great bright fruits, beautiful acidity with enough backbone to pair nicely with Jenny’s “Farmers Market Salad w/ Feral Heart Farm Beets, Toasted Honey Seeds Clusters, Feral Heart Farms Shoots & Greens, Goat Cheese, Gluseppe, Giusti Balsamic & Fine Herb Vinaigrette.” Yum. Mushrooms and pottery clay nose with baked blackberries. Forrest biomass and black plum intertwine with gamey goodness.. Big fruit tannins; grainy and smooth. A delicious thing. Paired this with Beet Wellington, a beet, mushroom, garlic, kale, and spinach -goat cheese Puff pastry wonder. Knew I would need a dirty girl for this one. Found her in this bottle. — 13 years ago
