Another treasure from the cellar—rich and mellow — 5 years ago
Black currant, strawberry, a bit of iron, limestone too? The palate is well balanced with a strong acid backbone, fruits, a good grip and some lively tannins. The finish is a bit dry but fruity too. An overall Bordeaux impression with an Italian twist. Very pleasant — 7 years ago
Great summer wine, crisp and perfect on a hot humid evening with salad and roast chicken — 10 years ago
Almost neb reminiscent in aromatics; leather, violets, raspberries, sour cherries, plasticine and dried tobacco. Super red palate with bright acid and med tannins — 11 years ago
We are enjoying a 2001 vintage in a darling authentic Italian restaurant - Il Contadino - in Delray beach Florida. Take your time to let it open up - and prepare yourself for bliss😘 — 11 years ago

Delicious - dark red fruit flavours followed by hint of fennel, cedar before a long finish of green pepper. Balanced acidity. 🍷 — 7 years ago
Mature. Great in its own — 9 years ago
Browned butter, caramel, toasted pecans. Evaporates on the palette leaving diaphanous notes of caramelized buttery joy. A Chianti masquerading as a sherry. One of the most delicious wines, or liquids for that matter, I've ever tasted. First had from the winery in Tuscany. Will always be a favorite. 2005 vintage — 11 years ago
Brought this back from wine tasting in Tuscany. Drank it on my birthday and really liked it — 11 years ago
