Quite aromatically expressive once given a 30+ min decant, after which aromas of pomegranate, violet & lavender come through along with an earthy undercurrent.  The palate is supremely well balanced with flavors of blueberries, red currants, with a bite of black pepper on the finish. Overall a lovely cru Beaujolais, which keeps luring you back for one more sip. It proved an excellent, albeit untraditional, pairing with jalapeño & queso fresco turkey burgers!
