Absolutely loved this cab. — 19 days ago
A solid first encounter from this up-and-comer producer from Lombardia. According to the importer, Nicola’s bubbles are on “every” top restaurant wine list in Italy. Wow, I can see why - Nicola sports the right narrative (natty, maverick), but the proof was in the bottle itself! The Quattrocento, which is Nicola’s late disgorged offering (40 months on lees), could easily give many Champagne’s a good run for their money. It was textural, incisive, and expectedly leaned more towards an oxidative and autolytic profile, with flavours of pastry, almonds, baked apples, and hints of spice. Admittedly, I was looking for a little more length and intensity, but the wine had good energy and drank with little resistance. A win for me! — 8 days ago

Exquisite aged Syrah. Floral and earthy with BlackBerry blueberry cocoa, mint, white pepper, — 21 days ago
Located halfway up the hill dominating principal valley of Barolo, lined by vineyards, lies a precious 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Medium Ruby with complex aromas of berry fruits, oak and fresh floral scents. On the palate dried cherry, tobacco, licorice, espresso and fresh herbs give this full-body wine grace and elegance. Soft fine dusty tannins, with earthy notes, on a well balanced frame makes this hot vintage wine approachable today as well as have room to run over the next decade. Very Nice! — 8 days ago
2018. Smooth. Medium body. Very easy to drink. Need to decant a bit. — a month ago
Tannins are really smooth now, wine is super round and balanced. Classic red aromas, wood, spice. Luscious chocolate and a hint of red fruit, cedar box, tobacco. Really great wine now, drinking much better than when I first tried it 6+ years ago. Well done Walla Walla. — 23 days ago
This wine is fantastic. At first out of the bottle - very dark and tight knit but milk chocolate notes keep it interesting.
After letting it sit for 2 hours as my kids run wild and refuse to sleep - now the wine opens up and just shines. Still chocolatey but the fruit is coming out. — 8 days ago
