Very rich and deep. Really singing now. Raging Aglianico tannins have been mellowed by 12 years in bottle but are still prominent with a bit of grip. Dark black fruit but tart, loads of acidity. Well balanced. Would have liked a bit more nose. — 3 years ago

Lots of dark fruit in the nose, and a bit of what smells like cinnamon. Plum, dark cherry, leather. Dusty tannins coat the mouth. At 13%; lots of flavor and depth. Enjoyed with bucatini and sauce made with garden tomatoes. — 6 months ago
