Lovely cherry notes. Love the mix of this 3 grapes. — 6 years ago
This yellow-gold wine rings the “old-style Cali” bell in all the right ways. A nose of apricots, mangoes and apples is helped along with the smell of buttered popcorn. Oak treats the palate as well, draping over the tropical fruit like a sunshade. The acidity is zesty, yet the mouthfeel tends toward creaminess due to the wine sitting on the lees for five months. The oak is a definite part of the wine, but the effect is softened enough so that it's a pleasure, not a pain. — 7 years ago
Love this wine. It's a new favorite. First had it in an Italian restaurant on lake Conroe — 9 years ago
Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Medium Ruby color, with aromas of berries, tea and spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and tart black cherry with herb, cedar and cinnamon. Fine tannins, medium+ finish with lively acidity, good structure, ending with fruit and cedar spice. — 6 months ago
I really enjoyed this wine, unfortunately I paid more than $10 because I bought it at a restaurant. Columbia Valley wines are def in my wheelhouse of taste and enjoyment for vino! 2019 — 3 years ago

Light, easy drinking, so smooth. Great with food or by itself! — 8 years ago
This really needs the @Bill Bender photo treatment to deflect the snickering, but it was a surprisingly balanced and delicious wine. #meow — 9 years ago

Very good. A butter, grapefruit and an apple. Medium acidity, but in this… configuration it's still too high. — 6 months ago
Ripe in flavor, with a vivid array of black currant, blackberry, violet, black tea and black pepper aromas and flavors that zoom through to a long, expressive finish. Shows subtlety in the layers of complex flavor against a refined structure. Tannins are present but nicely contained. #1 Wine of 2009, Wine of the Year* — 10 months ago
Took 30’ to get good started slow then developed black cherry and even a hint of current 2015 vintage — 7 years ago

Very dark with a rich complex nose. Opened it a day ago and it’s benefited from a day open. Yesterday I would have scored it 9.2 but today it’s 9.4. With restraint I’ll try it again tomorrow. Really a great Sonoma Malbec!
