Farneto Del Principe

Gaia Principe Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Modest Nebbiolo nose but impressive palate. Juicy and very chewable with ripe and balanced tannines. Sligro keeps on offering an outstanding qpr on this one! — a month ago

Principe Corsini

Michele Chiarlo

Il Principe Langhe Nebbiolo 2020

Light bodied, dry and semi-sweet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Paired well with an eggplant parmesan dinner as it balanced out the sweetness of the red sauce. — 2 months ago

Il Farneto

Frisant Rosso Red Blend

We liked this and should try it Again. A lot of frizzante — 9 months ago

Il Farneto

Frisant Rosato Rosé Blend

A zesty floral nose busts forth, with a light-medium body, beautiful rose color and a palate of bold strawberries and rhubarb. Fine bubbles dance across the tongue, with notes of citrus, hints of orange, and slight minerality on the finish. Perfect brunch wine! — 2 years ago

One of the better cesanese I have had, great acidity, good dark fruit, a little tobacco in the finish…wish I saw more of these — 6 months ago

Fiorano (Boncompagni Ludovisi)

Il Principe Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi White Blend 2012

Mistake! Last of two, first one opened in 2019 and meant to keep this one aging but forgot! It’s drinking beautifully, complex profile with fruits and stones singing together and am enticing texture that makes me sip more without the seafood. Too bad, no more to grow old! From JR Half Voignier and half Grecetto! Wow, got even better after days in Eto, More evolved, complex, lingering finish. Too bad it’s gone. Indeed quite a wine for aging. — 9 months ago
