2020 vintage. Nothing to be found about this "Vignes de Silène" on the website of the famous Jurançon producer Domaine Cauhapé. Probably a supermarket only label, but it's gorgeous and cheap (8 euros). Pear, green apple and floral notes. A very round mouthfeel , but also crisp and juicy. Very good length. Terrific value. Try with the local Mont Cayol cheese (tastes like something in between a Tome de Savoie and a Parmigiano). Abv. 14%. — 2 years ago

Crozes Hermitage is a favorite and this one excels. Drinking this in a restaurant in Chicago, Bistronomic. If I see this in a wine store, I’d grab a case. — a month ago
