Isn’t #bandol one of the most reliably fantastic appellations in France? This is delicious, one of those interesting wines that sits back introverted on the nose, touch of strawberries, faint garrigue aromas but palate overdelivers with serious weight, details of watermelon, strawberry, spicy garrigue with some bitter blood orange pith on the juicy finish. The ripeness is still nicely balanced. What a major upgrade to Provençal rosé! — 8 months ago

The Bandol Longue Garde 2000 from Le Galintin is really fun with air. Nice balance of floral, earthy, barnyard, fruit. Had a little stanky in my dranky! Cc: @winecultproject — 11 years ago
