Amazing, refreshing and great value. New favorite. From Wine Impressions in Laurel Village. — 10 hours ago
wow! wow! lots of litchi, pear, chamomile and just smells like a spice shop in the middle east... beautiful light caramelized orange colour, low viscousity, racy in the mouth, good but low acid and finishes on a hint of bitterns..kind of an IPA finish :)... crazy to believe it that this is gewürztraminer!!! — 2 days ago
Very quiet nose off the bat. Faint minerality. Palate is alive, stunning and well though. Concentrated, powerful and complex. So sappy and dense with wonderful structure, sap and richness. Juicy and long with such intensity. Really really pure. This punches way above its weight. — 11 days ago
The Fall Confrerie St Etienne dinner highlighting Alsatian whites alongside French and Napa reds. A delightful evening!
Here is your petrol! Could smell it a table away. The residual sugar in this had to be low. Very balanced. Compared to the gewurztraminer we had tonight, this wasn’t sweet in any way. Light and refreshing. — a day ago
Beautiful white pepper, slightly floral/violet/soapy, crunchy-not-sweet fruit, moderate tannins, light to medium body. Unmistakably old world Syrah. Doesn't have the depth or persistence of the great St. Jo's or the richness of the good ones in a great year, but very nice and a great value play, if a but geeky. — a day ago
One of the very best. Some bottle age has helped tame the primary fruit, but plenty of structure persists to balance the dark cherry & summer red berry notes. Drouhin continues to make some of my favorite wine from Oregon every vintage. Beautiful stuff. — 8 days ago
