Domaine Du Pimont

Domaine Clos de la Chapelle

Champs Pimont Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2019

Medium dark rubi robe, nose of crushed flowers, top soil and asian spices, very complex and elegant in the mouth, and very long. This got to be the best Beaune 1er cru we had in many years. Classical burgundy in fine shape, with lots for it now and many years ahead. Enthusiastically recommended ! — 2 years ago

Les Champs Pimont Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2012

Cranberry and dark cherry. Floral aromatics. More concentrated than their savigny bottling, but not what I would consider a complex wine — 6 years ago

Champs Pimont Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 1988

In its prime. Smooth as silk, great integration, superb balance. Decided to pop a bottle 10 years older than the rest of the line-up tonight and didn't regret it. It's in its peak and is drinking wonderfully! Earthy, rustic, proactive and very delicious! — 9 years ago

A really lovely surprise from Beaune, this 1er cru is simply splendid and delicious, complex, rich, creamy, tropical and summer fruits, mineral, medium to full fat smooth body, superb acidity and long delicious finish. In a blind tasting would most probably mistake it to be a Meursault ;-) my score 90, drink to 2020 — 5 years ago

Yum. Warm gold look in the glass. Yellow apple, lemon candy, French toast. Round, opulent, not wildly buttery but it's there. Drinking this makes me feel rich and spoiled. 🍞🍋💸 — 6 years ago
