This was a pretty subtle cab franc from the Loire Valley — I could have mistaken it for pinot noir. Red fruit, medium acid, low tannin — pretty middle of the road/balanced, as opposed to bell pepper or herbal notes. Good price, would drink again. $42. — a month ago

Like all their holdings in the Côte de Nuits, all plots here are farmed biodynamically. Fermented in tank, aged for 10 months in neutral oak barrels and concrete eggs.
