For the varietal, they nailed it. Guys, this is a CANADIAN wine. And if you try it with your eyes closed, it could pass for its french cousin. A work of art. I’m legit about to pop over Laurent Saillard's "POP" blend of Cab Franc & Pineau d'Aunis. It smells like a faint breeze of clean laundry, tastes like ruby red grapefruits sprinkled with salt, garnished with lime rinds & thyme, and feels like you just gulped a glass of palpable sexual tension. It has this intensely flirtatious energy to it, like you've teasing back & forth with someone all afternoon and then they pull you in close by your belt-loops & you don't know if you're going to makeout or explode, but it's most definitely both. Honestly? I could jerk off to this wine and it is currently leading the race of the official sparkling wine of the summer. Pair it with Hot Flash Heat Wave's "Dirty Dreamer (XXX)". — 8 years ago

Ok First experience with Trebbiano so maybe I'm off. But, I'm getting a little ammonia, dirty laundry and cut grass on the nose. Good acidity, minerality and very very well balanced. If I didn't know any better I would swear it was a high quality Sauvignon Blanc! Highly recommended! — 11 years ago
