This is great, but was shocked that it had so much oak characteristics. Not what I was expecting! Nose is wonderful plums, fresh herbs, cedar, and even a bit of leather. Palate is more plums, cherries, red apple skin, then oak, baking spice. I really like it and would have never guessed this as a broc wine. Fascinating to go back in their vault. Would love to know more about this one. — 3 years ago
We drank the 2018 and not the 2012 but I forgot to take a pic like a real delectable noob. Nonetheless this was great. Glad I stashed a few away in the ol vault. Bree crushed a complex PCI today and we felt like opening up something tasty to celebrate and let me tell you, that limerick zin hits different. Jammy yes But also dried fruits and anise, light smoke. Clean finish. — 4 years ago

Trying at the Wine Vault. Subtle aromas of cherry, slightly funky. Rich fruit and lots of depth to taste. Loved by the big reds group I’m with. — 2 years ago

One from the vault. I though I had drank this years ago. Delicious with rich fruit flavors but not the over Oaked fruit bomb that was so typical of Australia from the period. Surprisingly had a verve and freshness that leads me to believe that a well made and properly stored Shiraz can bring decades of enjoyment — 4 years ago

Ambitious vault and sticks the landing. A cheap GSM going for it. Big alcohol, rich fruits, simmered concentration. Jammy, new oak, meaty sharpy sweet core. — a year ago
