Intense, bold and not for the faint of heart. The 2010 had a taste of a strong fruity touch from top to bottom. Some drink mates claimed it was "flat" and "pungent", but they were those who are defined as the weak hearted members of their respected families. This wine is for the strong. This wine is one that Darwin himself would respect. Merry Christmas. — 8 years ago

The evolution this displayed throughout the night would have made Darwin himself proud. Barolo like tar elements, acidity became earthy with air. Long, wonderful finish. A worthy companion to Ching's filet mignon and my pomegranate and apple salad. — 8 years ago
