Slender, light-on-feet, dancin' in lace, in both color & taste. A slight-necked debutante wearing a dainty, Bing cherry necklace, blowing smoke rings of star anise. A dentelle doily. — 9 years ago
Bubbles of beauty! Aromas of cherries, limes, rose petals and loads of fresh baked bread. Pinpoint bubbles dance in the mouth, mid palate zesty citrus fruits and a long, lively finish - makes me feel like dancin'!! The color alone calls for a party. — 10 years ago

Tasted this last September at the winery, bought two bottles, and drank one tonight with pasta. This is a blend of two pinot clones, and the blend results in sour cherry, but with an undertone of black truffle. A very interesting wine. — 7 years ago

This is the first wine I have tried from Southern Oregon the Rogue Valley. A gift sent to me from my brother who lives in Medford, OR. This is the 2017 Dancin Vineyard Allegro Zinfandel. You would not know that this was a typical Zinfandel if you were tasting this blind. It is not jammy and the fruit is not in your face. If I didn't know better I would have thought this to be more in line with a Pinot Noir.
On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, black plum, clove, raisin and dark soils.
On the palate there is black cherry, boysenberry, black plum, clove, star anise, spice and a minerality.
This wine is medium bodied not jammy more Pinot like with a light fruity mouthfeel, medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that lead into a long fruit filled, snappy acid finish. A very pleasant wine that would go well just with about any type of food. Thanks to my brother for sending this wine. Have a great week ahead and please be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 5 years ago
