Lawrence- this is such an interesting barb- not just big, but layered - & so swishable- could not stop smelling it for long !!! but when I did it was complex cola floral - stone fruits and such a captivating finish! was lovely with rangoons, heavy cheeses and blackberries, believe it or not! — 9 years ago

Dark Ruby red in colour. Aromas of dark cherries and pipe tobacco. On the palate dried cherry - ultra savoury. My local club, The Downs Club, is doing takeaways on Wednesday and Friday nights these days. Hope they do it more often on the quality of the Chicken Cacciatore we had tonight. Went into my Wine App - Personal Wine Curator and was surprised that Primitivo was a good match - and so it was. Barb loved it. Excellent meal, excellent wine. — 5 years ago
