Such a favourite- flinty, great acid and balance — a year ago
Fresh, bright acidity, floral. — 3 hours ago
Just a bit off dry but balanced and great with cheese board — 4 months ago
Pretty much a perfect pet nat.
Light salmon pink hue
Aromas of dried roses, strawberries, and watermelon that also come through in the palate — with yeasty, earthy effervescence.
I drank this 2 years ago and still think about it… — 4 months ago
I know that 2012 wasn’t a perfect year but this still underperformed. Have a lot of nostalgia for D’Issan after Emmanuel Cruse (the proprietor) oversaw the Bordeaux tasting competition where my wife and I met. Very little fruit on the mid palate. Bit thin on the finish. Definitely left bank - the nose is very nice. Good pairing with beef tenderloin slow roasted but still a smidge below what I hoped. — 6 months ago
2019 NV. Super interesting stuff. Finesse and complexity of well made traditional method but completely distinct in style. Traditional citrus is mixed with slightly oxidative honey and tree sap, with a grippy, refreshing phenolic touch and an orange bitters complexity on the palate. Autolytic profile is not front and center, supports the forest-like freshness. Dosage is zero but you wouldn’t guess it, it’s in balance, not just trendy — 7 months ago

Middle of the road body. Nose is tart raspberry and roasted plum. Palette is macerated strawberry with a hint of basil. Crowd pleaser. Could cocktail or pair with food very easily. — 13 hours ago
