Deep red - purple color, medium - heavy body. Nondecriptive nose. Bone dry, red fruit with boysenberry on the fore-palate with an “oh too light” peppery and spicy finish. Tim’s mature and well developed palate observed a hint of vanilla at very end of the finish, however it eluded me. Consistent throughout the bottle. 2014. 53% Cab Franc, 47% Merlot. Nose is sweet black fruit. The palate shows a graceful measure of red & black fruit with some moderate spiciness. Structure is moderate, and this works beautifully as a nice young wine with some good pizza. — 4 years ago

There is indeed a sweetness to it, but I don't think the traditional vodka drinker will appreciate that particular kind of sweetness. Mixing with a sweet tea vodka and lemon juice. — 7 years ago
