Dense red in color. Oak, cherry jam notes in nose. Cherry, mint and butter notes in mouth, slightly hot, tongue prickly finish. Cherry pit bitterness in aftertaste. Bold winemaking style, not a Sangiovese for the timid. Softens up quickly, but a bit oaky for my taste
