Fades del Granit Garnatxa Roja Blend

The rare red sparkler and it’s got some kick to it. Light bubbles and granite berry fruit. There’s a hint of bitterness in there too.

Nice to try a sparkler that’s truly different.

Crianza Ribera del Duero Tempranillo

Muy buen ribera, tempranillo, potente,, fruta roja. Una buena elección, hay muchos riberas roble, con más nombre, que se quedan muy por debajo. — 5 years ago

Was it a present Chris? I do not think I would pick this up from the shelf? 😅

@Peter van den Besselaar more of an emergency purchase. We needed some bubbly with our meal and I usually only stock special occasion Champagne. Went to the local bar and they suggested this as a good sparkler for under €25. If it had been under €15, I would consider buying again.

Fun label but it does not radiate quality imo

Bad Brewing Company

The Other Side Series Sour Farmhouse Ale

Recently discovered this brewery in Mason, MI (about 15 min from our house), this sour reminds me a lot of what I would descibe as a slightly lighter version of Jolly Pumpkin’s La Roja. Great balance with a hint of cherries, this beer is legit. Well done, Bad Brewing! — 5 years ago

Naggiar Vineyards Piedra Roja Block 22 Tempranillo 2014

The terroir of the Old vines in Sierra Foothills give this California grown Tempranillo a beautiful new world character. The fruit is forward but balanced and just a lovely easy wine to drink. Acid structure solid for cellaring but it’s hard to tell how long without tannic testing — 5 years ago
