Light yet rich. Stone fruit. Rolls on my tongue. Spring break....for this instructor. A toast to Seasonal flora, puppies and flowers. — 9 years ago
Tastes like a velvety warm summer's evening in Carolina, listening to the singing of cicadas. — 9 years ago
This is an astounding effort from a fantastic vintage for region that’s not supposed to grow anything but tobacco… This single varietal is grown at lower level elevation. Not too far from Greensboro, this is remarkably expressive of herbs, florality, and dried red fruit! The balance in mouth feel are exquisite… Absolutely shocked to learn that this was vinted at Childress under Michael Zimmerman‘s direction. Stunning!! — 4 years ago
Not as sweet as other muscadines. I really liked this one though. — 9 years ago
Fruity but dry and easy drinking. Definitely recommend again. — 9 years ago
1st night at new house in NC - we wanted a local wine and found this beauty: New World style w/ rigid acidic backbone & expressive minerality along with some beautiful fruit aromas spanning the spectrum: red delicious apples, figs, hazelnuts, pineapple, guava and some melon. Very generous w/some heft & elegance. Pleasantly surprised for $15! — 4 years ago
