This is soooo pleasant — 6 years ago
Clear, pale lemon; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary aromas of grass, honeysuckle, and lemon; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of lemon zest, lychee, and wet slate with a long finish. This wine is complex, with acidity that balances its fruit. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it, too. — 4 days ago
Sweet but not too sweet and very smooth. — 10 months ago
Ok, this will read a little oddly...
Decanted 2H. Somewhat Meursault-like... Nose has dried pineapple, hazelnut butter and fresh honey. Palate has warmed pear, browning butter and dried lime zest.
24H Update:
Nose has candied pineapple, slight vanilla oak, crushed hazelnut, buckwheat honey and lemon zest. Palate has warmed pear, lime pith, browning butter and oxidized yellow apple. This bottle is really changing my perception of MO wines, we've certainly had good whites/reds from the State, but this is a different standard. I'll still confess if blinded, this is Meursault, after several hours of air last night, and again with 24 hours of air, just wow! — 4 years ago
2022. My daughter loved the 2024 Honey at the winery last Sunday and was happy to open up the 2022 I had in the wine fridge. She said she thought it wasn’t as floral as the recent vintage, but it was still her favorite of the three OWW wines we had tonight. (Mine too) — 2 months ago

Cider straight from the source, Patrick of Patois disgorged this bottle for us when we visited his production site in the spring of 2020. Fun and lovely co-fermentation. — 3 years ago
