Funky wine with golden raisin color. Raisin and grapefruit on the nose. Lots of earth tones and funk. Pairs well with lobster. — 6 years ago
Lots of minerality, fresh. Lovely — 8 years ago

Geez, I'm glad I bought six of these! If this is a sign of what's to come from Jules, bojo lovers are in for good things! Style is along the lines of Yvonne, though maybe a touch cleaner than the btls I've had. And a meaty, darker style than that of say foillard. — 10 years ago

Upon opening I was totally skeptical & unconvinced. Blind I guessed Pinotage (for which I have a strong dislike).
Came across disjointed, with a rubbery whiff, a tad funky.
Fast forward24h, this is a completely different wine.
Lovely red fruit purity, with green bell pepper and some herby, peppery notes. Fresh, pure, juicy.
Mid weight on the palate with beautifully polished tannins and nice poise. This wine is subtle, resting in itself, with nice purity and good depth. The long finish is clean, fresh, and immediately invites for another sip.
A surprising & humbling bottle. — 9 months ago
Very complex, herbal-fruit character like crataegus, peach, tender rosemary or lavender leaf. Fantastic long creamy but gracile mineral taste!!! Kind of calcareous, but tender with flowers, nuts and herbs

Mainly red fruit, cherries dominant. Medium weight, herbaceous and highly mineral. Takes time to open, decant. As good as rougeard at a fraction of the price. Coming into optimal drinking window now. — 3 months ago
