Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and plum with toasty oak and slight pepper spice. Firm tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and spice, nice value. Drink now no further aging benefit! — 2 years ago
Super nose with licorice, blackberry, garrigue. We could be in southern Rhone, but there is a freshness to it. The palate is a model of balance: a huge acid backbone, a nice blackberry note all along, a certain tanginess which adds a layer, a good width, a smooth mouthfeel, a powerful mid palate with a tannic twist, and a long finish with blackberry, and a bit of butter twist in the end. Wow that's great — 5 years ago
Tempranillo. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Dark cherry with a bit of pepper. Love this , drinkable anywhere, anytime. Superb with red pasta. A Joe Godas selection. — 8 months ago

Confrérie Des Chevaliers du Tastevin Sous-Commanderie d'Albany; 20 September 2020 at New World Bistro, Albany, NY
Physically Distanced 🚧 but Socially Close 🤗 dinner, our first in +8mo. Following the reasonable NY State dining regulations, seated and masked. While a new experience, it was well worth it to see our core group again. — 5 years ago
Not bad for a non-vintage supermarket wine. Brings to mind Fruit Rollups and Capri-Sun, but in a good way. If you’re in the supermarket and you’re not sure what to trust, this is a safe bet. — 9 months ago
Not as spritzy as most Vinho Verdes but I like the taste. — 3 years ago
