Cenando en Romeo y Julieta (Los Cabos 2018) — 6 years ago
again, really impressed with Mexican wine. Had a bunch in Mexico City last month and keeps impressing me. This one was a find from a wine shop outside Cabos. Nice spicy Cabernet with some dark fruit Edge (Petit Syrah). Rich, Nicely aged and low alcohol letting the fruit speak. — 9 years ago
Muted, understated nose of nectarines and pears, with a hint of caramel (which we suspect is age related).
Palate has the signature Bacigalupi presentation. Multi-layered with bright peach and fire-roasted fruits. Medium density and moderate sweetness make this a wonderful white burg clone.

Had the 2011 last night at Las Ventanas al Paraiso (Rosewood) in Los Cabos. This plus their 2013 Chardonnay were amazing. Loving my Mexican wines. Low alcohol, nice distinguished fruit. This was classic Stags Leap style. — 9 years ago

Crowd pleaser.
Finally at a resto in Cabos with a deep wine list. This was what we could afford. Mx is nosebleed central!
