Not too fruity or tart. Medium to light dryness off the bat. — 6 months ago
This Etna Rosso is made with 100% Nerello Mascalese (a local variety) that offers a beautiful ruby hue and ripe black cherry, strawberry, pomegranate notes, rose water, licorice, anise, clove, crushed gravel, and earthiness. It’s vibrant and ripe.
It vinified in stainless steel and matured in both neutral oak (for 12 mos) and stainless steel (for another 10 months), lending texture and delicate spice notes. — 6 months ago
Diverso dal 2020, sembra più un Sauvignon, nota minerale, frutta meno evidente, naso diverso. Da aspettare. Appena imbottigliato. — 2 years ago

This Chianti paired very nicely with a prime flat iron steak and salad with radishes! — a year ago
This is the syrah, but not in the database. Blueberries and some mysterious dark berry on the nose. Surprised to not have more after 1.5 hours decanted. Grippy tannins, but seems a bit flat. Que syrah syrah, right? Update: After 2 hours it's much better. What a difference! Floral and fruity notes balanced with an acidic edge. Full mouth feel, nicely balanced, and undefined fruits. Wow, what a wine this! Definitely needs 2 hours to open. And here I thought the best Syrahs were from France! No, this is a keeper! — 3 years ago

Blend of local Corsican grapes, which Vermentino was the only one I was familiar with. Tawny gold, ripe yellow fruits, saline freshness, intense concentration and a bit of roundness from lees aging, evocative of scrubby coastal landscapes. Like a good diplomat, an endearing, versatile and fascinating companion to any Mediterranean cuisine — 6 months ago
