This is the syrah, but not in the database. Blueberries and some mysterious dark berry on the nose. Surprised to not have more after 1.5 hours decanted. Grippy tannins, but seems a bit flat. Que syrah syrah, right? Update: After 2 hours it's much better. What a difference! Floral and fruity notes balanced with an acidic edge. Full mouth feel, nicely balanced, and undefined fruits. Wow, what a wine this! Definitely needs 2 hours to open. And here I thought the best Syrahs were from France! No, this is a keeper!
