Nose features leather, spice, crushed rock and gravel, some cherry underneath. Intense flavors of cherry brandy, cracked rock dust. Lean and structured, though the tannins I noticed two years ago with my last bottle are starting to soften a bit. Very linear in flavor progression. Drinking nicely now, but will benefit from a year or two more and will keep for many more after that. — 5 months ago
Drinks well above its category. Black fruit, fig, anise, camphor, black cherry, sweet spice. Has the Barbaresco finesse which makes sense considering a good portion of the vines fall within the commune. — 9 years ago
