Concentrated fruit, structured — 2 years ago
Pretty little thang. Lively, floral. More-ish. — 10 years ago
A soft ruby color with cherry red accents. Stunning nose of herbs, spices, truffles, and black tea. It goes without saying that this is a just a baby and should be held for a few more years but it’s honestly pretty hard to resist. Elegantly structured with nice balance, there is certainly some initial tightness going on here which a long decant helps with. Signature expressive Barbaresco profile with plenty of cherries, mushrooms, licorice, and that old Italian leather I love. Still years away from maturity but so good right now. — 6 years ago

Nose features leather, spice, crushed rock and gravel, some cherry underneath. Intense flavors of cherry brandy, cracked rock dust. Lean and structured, though the tannins I noticed two years ago with my last bottle are starting to soften a bit. Very linear in flavor progression. Drinking nicely now, but will benefit from a year or two more and will keep for many more after that. — 4 months ago
