Muy buen vino, descubrí esta bodega hace años con Rivola. Hemos disfrutado Selección Especial mucho con una torta del casar, fantástica unión de Castilla León y Extremadura. 19 meses en barrica de roble. Tempranillo (75%), Cavernet sauvignon (15%) y Syrah (10%). — 11 years ago

Strawberry on the nose. Nice red cherry and kirsch aromas. Very good with light food. A summer red wine. @Ellen Clifford : this is a good red wine to drink chilled. — 6 years ago

Opens up nicely after some decanting. Thought it would have been passed its prime, but no, still going strong (bright, cherry, candy...) — 8 years ago
Oro pajizo presencia de carbónico, nariz poco potente, fruta de hueso. En boca muy buena entrada , paso y final equilibrado y muy rico... — 11 years ago

Fantastic wine. Normally I don't enjoy blends as much, but this wine has really found a good balance. I find a very subtle apple aroma. Then, in and out acidic on the tongue with a citrus finish, a hint of body in the background but not too heavy. Keeps it refreshing but still interesting with no lingering aftertaste, just a slow dissipating citrus. Great mix of triexadura, albarino & godello grapes — a year ago
This is the only premium bottling called Hombros — 6 years ago
Still a lot of life here. Technically not bierzo (50% cab). Last vintage of this wine I believe, red fruit and smoky herbs, gravelly tannins, bright acidity — 9 years ago
Showing extremely well. Integrated tannins with beautiful fruit and floral notes. — 11 years ago
No oak! 18 months steel cement — 12 years ago
