This wine is a gem. First of all, I’ve yet to meet a Calcareous York Mountain Pinot that I haven’t liked. York Mt is generally a winner due to the colder temps. This vintage (or non-vintage blend of 2015 and 2016) is medium bodied, with the most beautiful bouquet and a smokiness on the palate that reminds me of a Kings Canyon campfire. I am crazy about this wine. — 4 years ago
Big first taste . Very good. Will buy more. — 8 years ago
Had one more of these in the cellar and decided to see what a few more years in the bottle did to this 50/50 cab/mourvedre blend. NOT disappointed. Definitely has gotten a lot softer, but the fruit is still very much there with persistent (albeit diminished) tannins. Could easily go a few more years but is pretty good right now. Well done, Cris! — 2 years ago

Beautiful. Lighter in body than expected and possibly would’ve shown better a year or so ago but beautiful, nonetheless. — a day ago
