CM Douro Touriga Franca Blend 2011

This CM is a punk.

Just had this after a Caymus and it blows it out of the water.

Big. Blackberry. Silky tannins. Complex.

Best Portuguese wine I’ve ever had.

Grande Reserva Douro Red Blend 2011

Tasted this blind. Seemed green to start with a heavy dose of vanilla. Initial thoughts were Argentina or Washington Cab Sauv blend. Found my way to Portugal and even Touriga Nacional. Big dark fruit, cassis and licorice with a strong oak presence and a fair amount of tannin. Gorgeous and with years ahead of it. — 3 months ago

Douro Touriga Franca Blend 2015

All the raspberries on the nose, lots of acid and tannins that are balanced by the lighter body and fruits, but it does linger. Very nice. — 10 months ago

Douro Rabigato 2015

Fresh, floral, fruity and a medium dry finish in this Douro white that is perfect for summer lunches and pairs with white fish, cheese and seafood starters. Uses only one Portuguese varietal which is Rabigato. — 2 years ago
