Initial tastes like uigeadail but with much more depth and complexity. But on finish diverges into iodine on top. 5 minutes later still tasting smoke and iodine from the finish. This is really good. — 11 years ago

According to label, distilled at Coal Ila on 27 November 1984 and matured in oak cask for 16 years. I bought on a trip to Glasgow in 2001. Very pale. Gentle peat ("honnori"). This would be paired very well with herring I think. — 11 years ago
