Full-bodied Piedmontese red (Dolcetto) with medium acid and tannin, served with eggplant at Seven High restaurant in Kennebunk, ME — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2019 classico pours a garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of sour cherry, cranberry, red flowers, dried herbs, gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and satisfying. To my palate, this is a fine classico from Serralunga d’Alba. Drink now with patience but I expect this will show better after 2029 and through 2044. — 4 months ago
Not too dry. Not too bold. Just right. — 12 days ago
Initial notes of earthy blue cheese that morphed into dark cherry as it opened up. Drank alongside balada and grilled vegetables. — 4 months ago

JDP picked it, amazing. — a month ago
More muscular than the Gallina (rightfully so!), but in no way lacking finesse. Concentrated with assertive tannins, yet so lithe and pure. On the nose, roses, incense, cherries, strawberries, eucalyptus, juniper, leather, and a touch of tar. With air, the fruits came to the forefront, popping out with such clarity. On the palate, the young Barolo tannins did seem to dominate, but under it was a really fine red fruit character that gave it such a lovely drinkability. Some minerality in the lengthy finish, though not quite as palpable as on the Gallina. WOTN for all on the table. Compared to the Gallina, I can’t quite say one was better than the other - just different Roagna interpretations of Nebbiolo. — 3 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale straw yellow color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and floral perfumed notes. On the palate flavors of apple and citrus with herbs and floral spice. Lively acidity, good balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with mineral character. Very Nice! — 9 days ago
