Vinho Moscato da Serra Gaúcha - RS, Brasil! — 3 years ago
Os tintos brasileiros, especialmente da Serra Gaúcha estão evoluindo incrivelmente. O gosto de chocolate é incrível. — 5 years ago

Absolutely a unique experience. The husband of the winemaker gave me this as a gift to try, seeing as I've never had or found Brazilian wine. 100% Merlot and grown 960 meters in the mountains of the southwestern area of Brazil. The nose smelled like aged St Emilion - bell pepper, barnyard, cigarbox, espresso, decaying violets, and stewed black fruits on the nose. The pallet was elegant, with delicate tannin structure, and ample acidity, exhibiting the bell pepper notes, dark cherry and strawberry/rhubarb, and a soft clove spiced finish. For the Bordeaux favored pallet.. and definitely not what I expected.. I wouldn't mind this wine more often! She apparently also makes the other Bordeaux/international varietals, as well as a Chardonnay Traditional Method vintage sparkling aged 30 months on lees! — 6 years ago
— 3 years ago

This Cabernet Franc is so delicious! It’s made by the winery Marzarotto, in the Flores da Cunha, a small vile in Rio Grande do Sul State/Brazil.
The wine is elegante, medium body, good acidity and well balanced between aromatics notes and flavours. It’s ready to be drunk but can be aged for a couple of years. — 3 months ago
