I liked it! Good juice for the price. — 8 years ago
Sugar plum with black pepper. Sweet but refreshing. Reminiscent of a Porto, with a lighter body. — 9 years ago
The 2015 L’Amourette is a pretty showing, this 100% #GrenacheGris comes from vines planted in the hilly black schist soils of eastern #Maury, in the #Roussillon. It delivers is fresh and clean with aromas of lemon zest, white peach, acacia flowers and chalky minerals. Shows nice balance and focus with a crisp edge to the finish. A fantastic effort and drinking excellent right now. (Best 2016-2018) — 9 years ago
Raisins, currants, slightly vegetative. Light tannins. — 5 years ago
We wanted Tawny Port; our sommelier Tim suggested this. Very “Tawny-Like”; paired well with either pumpkin cheesecake or pecan tart. — 6 years ago
I love #Grenache &always pursue it. But this one is really special. Heady depth. — 9 years ago
Smells of candied apricot, dried fig, and Smokey edges.
Medium bodied, yet towards the heavier side, deep Smokey fruits, tabac, black cherry rolling around in the hay with some garrique and acidity. Dark tones linger on like a good old fashioned Edgar Allen Poe story.. — 5 years ago
Big inky and brooding. New world save for the sanguine quality, chewy dark berry and mineral. Nowhere near its peak! — 8 years ago
Robust Grenache blend. Deep, dark and inky wine. Notes of stewed prunes, black cherries with notes of damp wood. Well balanced fruit, relaxed tannins, nice spice, medium complexity with a nice finish. Firm acidity; will pair well with roasted meats and a variety of cheeses. — 9 years ago
