January 12, 3020. Tucson. Pizza dinner w/ Caitlin,Sarah, J2, Don. This Nero d’Avola (60%), Frappato blend is definitely better than most Nero d’Avolas and any frappato I’ve had. Yummy. Great w/ pizza, or alone. Medium bodied, nice complexity, old world wine. — 6 years ago

Dec 16, 2020. W/Caitlin. Gave her a bottle of this for her northday last year, this is my first taste. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot. A lovely Pessac-Leognan and perfect example of why it love wines from this Bordeaux region. Black fruit, fig, truffle on the nose with earth, leather, truffle, and a hint of mint in palate. Smooth, silky tannins. So good! — 6 years ago
