Toscana IGT Bianco 2020

Star bright yellow gold. Inviting nose of chalky lemon rind. Medium palate confirms the nose adding lime (the fruit), lime (the mineral), and green apple. Firm acidity from entry to the moderate finish which adds cilantro and cucumber that takes over the roof of the mouth. Wonderfully complex Super Tuscan white (Viognier and Chardonnay). Mediterranean fare is, of course, a natural -- Bronzino comes racing to mind -- but try with any seafood, lighter poultry, or cream sauce. Drink now through 2027. — 2 years ago
