Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2016 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of grapefruit, lemon, freshly cut grass, wild flowers, honeysuckle, poblano pepper, and mushrooms. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and has a creamy texture. Drink now with patience, as it really needs time to open, and enjoy through 2036. — 3 months ago
