Not sweet. The chard flavor carries over the Riesling despite the smaller percentage of former. Grassy, apricot, and a hint of that buttery mouthfeel. Bright not heavy — 5 years ago
Finally opened this Caduceus Cellars 2012 Primer Paso bottle to enjoy with sirloin tips and kale with Sedona fig balsamic & basil olive oil. Happy Birthday Mr. B! — 7 years ago
13' vintage...fun wine, probably a bit young — 7 years ago
Nose: slightly yeasty, sweet smelling. Gummy candies, lychee, green apple.
Taste: low-medium acid, light bodied, low tannin, 12.5% alcohol, honeysuckle, tart green apple, medium mineral, granite — a year ago

Recommended by someone I decided to trust - a little scary - so this is a Weird blog - treated like a pop and pour - is starting to get really good - never heard of wine or this winery and this wine is listed as made in CA and AZ but the bottle says New Mexico which is the weird part and the winemaker is a rockstar and the wine is evolving and believe or not I am recommending - totally recommending - derp red color - dark cherries and dark currant fruit - smell is very much a fruit bomb - finish is short but enough to please - well done Maynard James Keenan - you are a real Rick star and rock on big guy - smiling on a Wednesday night 😀😀😀😀 — 9 years ago

Beautiful wine — 5 years ago
Dry, but juicy; bold but bright; heavy but acidic - it’s fascinating how much the 4% white grape steals the spotlight from the otherwise predictably solid Syrah/Petite Syrah/Grenache red blend. — 6 years ago
Chupa duper!!! — 7 years ago
I’m not a white wine drinker, a very distinct flavor that is very fresh. I really enjoyed this. — 8 years ago
Lots of flavors. Natural wine Excelsior — 9 years ago
Right after opening, it seems like an alcohol bomb on the nose. Not to fail. Just needs 10 minutes and it's open to big red fruit, slight oak, tart cherry, and great acid. They're killing it out there. — 9 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2020 Anubis, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Aglianco, pours a deep ruby/purple color with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe black and red fruits: mixed brambles, black cherry, crème de cassis, purple flowers, poblano pepper and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and texture is soft. Drink now through 2035. — 2 months ago
