Wonderful Bulgarian Red Blend (55% Merlot, 35% Syrah and 10% Petite Verdot). Aromas of Dark fruits with hints of violets, black olives, cedar, vanilla and tobacco. Dark fruit driven pallet that also notes black olives, bell pepper and graphite. Powerful but elegant at the same time. Beautiful balance with nice grip on the lingering finish. Excellent! Very good bulgarian blend. Typically great value for money. Fruity and juicy but then layered and complex as well. More on tannic side, tannins are rather firm and unpolished, but I like such wines. Has a note of sweetness as well. Would buy again! — 7 years ago
